Description

• Oversees and coordinates the RNBS program.
• Provides operational oversight with faculty and staff.
• Guides structure and function of the program within the larger OHSU system and Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education (OCNE) and clinical partners.
• Ensures the program adheres to accreditation and state nurse practice act standards.
• Facilitates active engagement of all faculty in innovation in online teaching, program recruitment, curricular development, course and program goal attainment, student engagement, and cohesive program functioning.
• Maintains engagement in teaching, research, scholarship and service.

Requirements

• Earned or in-process doctorate in nursing or related field.
• Five years of progressive experience in:
  • higher education
  • leadership/administration
  • clinical practice
• Meets state and national standards for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Oregon.
• Knowledge of undergraduate curricula in nursing and pedagogy.
• Demonstrated experience in leading people and teams.
• Lives in, or willing to relocate to, Oregon or Southwest Washington.
• Commitment to being trauma informed and applying a trauma informed lens to work, creating the conditions for safety and belonging.
